Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) establish the responsibilities and expectations between you (the "Client") and Holland Resumes (“Company”). By using our services, you confirm your acceptance of these terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By emailing your resume, submitting materials, or paying for services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not proceed with submitting materials or making payments.

2. Scope of Services

Holland Resumes provides resume writing, cover letter creation, and other career-related services. Deliverables vary depending on the package chosen and rely on accurate and timely input from the Client.

  • Initial Submission: Clients must email their current resume. If unavailable, a detailed general worksheet, accessible via the "Worksheet" tab on our website, must be completed before work begins.

  • Consultations: In-person consultations require a 25% deposit at the time of scheduling. For virtual consultations, the deposit is due after the session but before any writing begins.

3. Client Responsibilities

To ensure quality and timely completion of services, Clients must:

  • Provide accurate and complete materials, such as a prior resume or completed worksheet.

  • Communicate clearly and provide feedback promptly (within 10 business days of receiving drafts).

  • Be available for consultations as scheduled and notify the Company of any changes in a timely manner.

4. Revisions and Delivery

  • Revisions: Clients are entitled to up to 3 rounds of revisions for each deliverable, provided requests are submitted within 10 business days of receiving the first draft.

  • Timeline for Feedback: Failure to provide feedback within the specified timeframe will result in the deliverable being deemed accepted.

  • Additional Revisions: Beyond the initial revision period or rounds, additional work may incur fees.

5. Payments and Deposits

  • A 25% deposit is required to secure your project and schedule a consultation. For in-person consultations, this deposit must be made before the meeting. For virtual consultations, the deposit is due immediately following the consultation but before any work begins.

  • Clients are welcome to pay in full upfront; however, this is not required to initiate the project.

  • All payments must be completed before the final deliverables are released.

  • We accept major credit and debit cards right here on our website through our secure Wix Payments system. You can also pay conveniently via Zelle. Our payment options are designed to provide a safe and seamless experience for every client.

  • Payments via CashApp or Venmo are not accepted at this time.

6. Refund Policy

  • Refunds are not provided for any project once work has begun.

  • If a project is not started due to the Client’s failure to provide required materials (e.g., a current resume or completed worksheet) within 30 days of purchase, the deposit is non-refundable.

7. Delivery Timeline

  • The first draft of the resume will typically be delivered within 10 business days of receiving all required materials (current resume, completed worksheet, or consultation).

  • Timely feedback is critical to the completion process. If no feedback is provided within 10 business days of receiving the first draft, the deliverable will be deemed accepted, and the project considered complete.

  • Complex projects or additional services may require more time. Clients will be informed of any extended timelines at the start of the project.

8. Job Search Disclaimer

While Holland Resumes strives to provide high-quality career materials, the Company does not guarantee job placement, interviews, or other outcomes. External factors like job market conditions, industry demand, and interview skills are beyond our control.

9. Confidentiality

We value your privacy. Any information you provide, including resumes and personal details, will only be used in connection with the services we provide. Your information will not be sold, shared, or distributed to third-party companies under any circumstances. If you wish for your information to be removed from our system after services are completed, please make a written request.

10. Non-Disparagement

We are committed to providing exceptional service and resolving any concerns you may have. If you encounter any issues, we ask that you give us the opportunity to address them directly before sharing public reviews or comments. By agreeing to these terms, you acknowledge and agree to avoid posting false or misleading remarks that could harm the reputation of the company. Your honest and constructive feedback is always welcome and appreciated as part of our commitment to continuous improvement.

11. Arbitration and Governing Law

Any disputes related to this Agreement will be resolved through binding arbitration in Oakland County, Michigan, under Michigan law.

12. Modifications to Terms

Holland Resumes reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions. Continued use of our services implies acceptance of any changes.
